CALL FOR PAPERS
Security is a pervasive factor in our lives whether it is associated with CCTV cameras on the High Street, airport screening, home or office computer use, chip-and-pin cards, biometric applications, medical records, banking services – the list is probably endless! It is therefore timely to review the borders of international, national and personal security. This will be the theme of TechNet International 2009.
The event will be held in Brussels on 29 and 30 October. The symposium element will consist of the following 4 main sessions:
- Session I - 'International Threats - National Solutions'
- Session II - 'Operational Requirements to Maintain Security - Emerging Technical Solutions' will be a mix of operational requirements and selected commercial solutions to provide an emphasis to the exhibits that are on display in the main hall.
- Session III - 'Technology Showcase' will take the form of a technology showcase where it is anticipated that NATO C3 Agency will demonstrate some of their work as well as provide an overview of how security is handled within their procurement projects.
- Session IV - Panel Session: ‘Can Provision of Service be Guaranteed?’
