FOREWORD
Security is a pervasive factor in our lives whether it is associated with CCTV cameras on the High Street, airport screening, home or office computer use, chip-and-pin cards, biometric applications, medical records, banking services – the list is probably endless! It is therefore timely to review the borders of international, national and personal security. This will be the theme of TechNet International 2009.
The event will be held in Brussels on 29 and 30 October. The symposium element will have 4 main sessions: - Session I will examine international threats and national solutions. - Session II will examine operational requirements and emerging solutions.
- Session III will take the form of a technology showcase where it is anticipated that NATO C3 Agency will demonstrate some of their work as well as provide an overview of how security is handled within their procurement projects.
- Session IV will ask the question ‘Can Provision of Service be Guaranteed?’
Add to this mix high-profile keynote speakers and an eye-catching exhibition with the latest technology on display and it will be obvious that TechNet International is a must for you, your company or your service.
A detailed programme will be on display shortly.
