NGA Industry Day 2012
"Meeting Geospatial Intelligence Needs in a Budget-Constrained Environment"

On February 14, 2012, AFCEA Intelligence and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), will present NGA Industry Day 2012 in the Heritage Conference Center, Chantilly, VA. The event will be classified (Secret – U.S. citizens only). This special one-day conference is designed to enable industry to better understand NGA vision, requirements, priorities, and business opportunities. The program will feature NGA senior leadership responding to an agenda developed in partnership with members of industry. Each session will emphasize challenges NGA faces – highlighting areas with business opportunities.

Navy Information Dominance Industry Day 2012
"Elevating Information to a Main Battery Status"

On March 7, 2012, AFCEA Intelligence and the Naval Intelligence Professionals, in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Dominance, will present the third in a series of classified forums examining the state of Information Dominance in the U.S. Navy. Attendees will leave not only with a greater understanding of the Information Dominance Corps and the Information Dominance Strategy, but with a sense of what technologies, capabilities, and services are most needed to help fulfill its vision of becoming one of the “main batteries” of the U.S. Navy.

TechNet Land Forces - Southwest
"Operating and Defending the Cyberspace: Tomorrow’s Playbook"

The TechNet Land Forces conference series recently evolved from and replaces the annual LandWarNet Conference. The purpose is to provide a forum for the Army and Marine Corps, as well as DoD Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard security forces, to discuss issues and share ideas for solutions. Each event will have a different regional and operational focus:
- TechNet Land Forces Southwest – Network and Security Operations, March 27-29, 2012, Tucson Convention Center, AZ
- TechNet Land Forces South – Joint and Coalition, July 10-12, 2012, Tampa Convention Center, FL
- TechNet Land Forces East – Cyber, August 14-16, 2012, Baltimore Convention Center, MD
The overall theme of TechNet Land Forces - Southwest is Network Security and Operations with a focus on the ground component of the Army and Marine Corps, including components of Homeland Security, Industry, Academia, and Border Control. The operational theme of the first conference is “Operating and Defending the Cyberspace: Tomorrow’s Playbook” and focuses on an industry parallel with the Department of Defense in the defense of the cyber space, impact of mobile communications on the battlefield, and training tomorrow’s cyber warriors. Government, industry, and academia speakers will address a broad range of topics and focus on the challenges of network security issues of today and training cyber warriors of tomorrow.
