Classified US Military Communications (CUMC) Conference

November 6-7, 2013
MITRE, 7515 Colshire Drive, McLean, VA

RegistrationSecurity Clearance | Technical Papers | Schedule | Directions & Parking

In addition to opportunities presented at the long-standing MILCOM conference and exposition, AFCEA International and the IEEE Communications Society, in association with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, are pleased to offer a new venue for restricted-access papers. The "Classified US Military Communications Conference" (CUMC) will be held November 6-7, 2013 at the MITRE facilities in McLean, Virginia. All accepted papers will become part of a permanent proceeding to be housed by the US DoD Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) following presentation.

Conference Format

Based on the number of received papers, we are currently planning four sessions over two days (two sessions each day morning and afternoon). The first three sessions will be unclassified – US only; these sessions will be broadcast via DCO. The end of each day will be reserved for topics at a SECRET classification. The sessions will be auditorium style seating, with approximately 100 in person attendees.

Conference Registration

Due to venue - we must restrict attendance to 100 registrants. 50 seats will be reserved for DoD personnel and 50 for contractors and will be restricted to two attendees per company.  Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and a waiting list will be maintained and additional attendees from organizations will be allowed if room permits. Registration for DoD personnel is free; DoD personnel may also participate using web collaboration tools; more details to follow. The cost for contractors will be $100. Registration includes breakfast and breaks. Lunch is available for separate purchase.

We're sorry, but registration is closed for this event.  We encourage you to attend MILCOM 2013, the unclassified military communications conference, November 18-20.
