*Includes FFRDC and Government Contractor AUDITORIUM AND OVERFLOW SEATING Once the auditorium is filled, conference presentations will be televised to adjacent rooms with overflow seating. Auditorium seating will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING GOVERNMENT & MILITARY ATTENDEE FEES To receive the AFCEA member rate for conference registration you must be an active individual member or designated associate member of an AFCEA Corporate Member company. If you sign up for the member rate and do not meet the criteria, you will be charged for the correct rate. To join AFCEA or verify current membership status: CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & SUBSTITUTIONS Refund requests must be emailed to Gretchen Eisenhower and received no later than September 24, 2013. No substitutions are permitted after October 7, 2013. If you register and later determine that you are unable to attend because you do not have the proper security clearance, you must submit a cancellation request in writing to AFCEA Intelligence, 4400 Fair Lakes Court, Fairfax, VA, 22033, prior to September 24, 2013. Your request must be accompanied by a written statement from your security officer confirming that you do not have a Secret clearance. SECURITY CLEARANCE CERTIFICATION All attendees must be cleared for Secret access at the time you register.** Attendees WITH IC blue or green badges do not need to pass clearances.*** Please verify with your badging office that your IC badge is enabled to work at NGA facilities. Attendees WITHOUT IC blue or green badges must arrange for their Special Security Officer (SSO) or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSS) to send an SSO- or CSSS- originated clearance certification message to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The clearance message must be on official letterhead and include the following: Attendee’s full name Place of Birth Country of Citizenship *Authority for soliciting Social Security Numbers (SSAN) is Executive Order 9397. SSAN’s will be used to identify attendees within the NGA’s access approval system. Disclosure of a SSAN is voluntary, but failure to do so may result in delay or denial of access to the NGA VCC. **The NGA does not grant interim Secret access--applicants for registration must be cleared Secret. The NGA will not provide any "read-in/read-out" security services. ***Symposium attendees whether IC badged or not must process through the visitor center to obtain a conference center badge. Clearance Deadline: October 7, 2013 Timely passage of your clearance/accesses is important. If your clearance is not passed as required, you will not be able to attend the symposium. Deadline for submitting clearances is October 7, 2013. All symposium attendees will be required to show a valid state or federal issued photo identification (i.e. a drivers license, state identification card, passport).
