Army G-2 comments on the Army Intelligence Industry Day 2014:

"We want to leverage industry to understand where we should be looking at for the future. By taking advantage of current technology we will be better able to isolate the battlefield, separate the threat from the population, and support a globally engaged Army that faces an ever evolving set of threats. Aligning new technologies to a leaner, more adaptive Army will allow us to provide robust Intelligence, despite an environment of constrained resources. We look forward to engaging with Industry to find meaningful capabilities that will support Army Intelligence into the future."

Welcome to the Army Intelligence Industry Day 2014!

On September 4, 2014, AFCEA Intelligence and the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Headquarters, U.S. Army, will co-sponsor a special, one day classified event tailored for members of industry focused on U.S. Army Intelligence.

With a speaker line-up including LTG Mary Legere, USA, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 (Intelligence), and other senior leaders from Army Intelligence, Army Science and Technology (S&T), and Army Acquisition, this event will provide valuable background to enable the private sector to continue its relationship with Army Intelligence.

The agenda will explore science and technology priorities for Army Intelligence as the Army faces diverse, emerging challenges. Army Intelligence is evolving to be more adaptive and agile to provide asymmetric support to the regionally aligned, globally engaged Army by focusing on the following:

  • Joint interoperability within the PED enterprise to engage an evolving set of threats
  • Multi-INT collection, processing, and fusion across the entire integrated sensor layer.
  • Fortifying network boundaries and system perimeters to protect the Intelligence Community from the evolving Insider Threat.

The agenda includes panel sessions with allotted time for questions and answers.

Attendees will gain a greater understanding of Army Intelligence vision and direction in a changing fiscal and operational environment, plus a sense of what technologies, capabilities, and services are required by Army Intelligence.

We look forward to seeing you at Army Intelligence Industry Day 2014!
