Cyber Solutions Trail

A new opportunity for companies of all sizes to demonstrate solutions to government and potential industry partners.  We are looking for innovative new solutions that are relevant to cyber security.  Abstracts describing the solutions for demonstration were invited for submission in March 2014. The proposals were then evaluated by members of the AFCEA Technology and Cyber Committees.  Priority was given to solutions that support current government cyber security priorities:

  • Identity and attribute management
  • Situational awareness
  • Interoperability across whole of government and the coalition environment
  • Protection of government networks and systems
  • Contributions to training the cyber security workforce
  • Rapid technology insertion

The top 12 solutions selected will be presented on the exhibit hall floor at the AFCEA International Cyber Symposium on Tuesday, 24 June. Presenters are allotted 20 minutes to brief their abstracts to our judges during the event. Exhibitors are highly encouraged to brief in their booths for maximum flexibility and convenience. For companies that are not exhibiting, a simple presentation space will be provided during your time slot on the show floor. Solutions will be evaluated by a team of judges drawn from the AFCEA Technology and Cyber Committees. One winner for the Best Overall Solution and two honorable mentions for the Most Innovative and Best Value solutions will be chosen. Winners will be announced from the podium during the 25 June plenary luncheon featuring keynote speaker, Mr. Terry Halvorsen, Acting Chief Information Officer, Department of Defense.
