Final Day Ride

The Final Day Ride allows you to participate in Cycle for STEM with a smaller time commitment. Riders will meet at AFCEA Headquarters in Fairfax, VA the morning of Saturday, July 19th. From there they will be transported, along with their bikes, to White's Ferry in Maryland to meet up with the 6 and 4-day riders coming across the river. The full group will then continue about 35 miles down the C&O Canal Towpath to its end along the river in Georgetown. At the end of the ride the group will be shuttled back to AFCEA to be greeted by a welcoming party for some food and drink to celebrate the completion of a sucessful event!

For some tips from a cycling expert on completing the final day ride comfortably, visit the Training/Gear page.

*Final Day ride participants are asked to reach a fundraising goal of $250 prior to the first day of the ride.  You provide the pedal power, and our fundraising team will provide you with the support to help you meet and exceed your fundraising goal. Click here for our Fundraising Toolkit.
