Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Maintain Your DoD 8570.01-M Credentials Attend designated EAST: Joint Warfighting 2013 sessions to help sustain DoD 8570.01-M mandated certifications. Federal agencies have agreed that ever-changing cyber security threats lead to the need for a continuous learning process to help keep our workforce up to date. In response, industry certification bodies adopted a continuous education model to address the requirement. AFCEA has partnered with Cypherpath LLC, a cyber security training and education company, on a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) program to provide training and to document relevant critical knowledge and skills-related activities which meet DoD 8570.01-M requirements. Attendees may receive CEUs and/or CMUs by attending qualified sessions (designated with a **) to support CE requirements for sustaining DoD 8570.01-M certifications. Please stop by the AFCEA booth on the exhibit floor (#819) to obtain a flyer with answers to frequently asked questions about CEUs/CMUs and a list of approved sessions.
