Program Overview

This session will provide an overview of the AGM Program and a high level review of the release products: Vista Enterprise, XP Professional and Server 2003, Server 2008, and OS X Leopard.  The session will also provide a high level review of the planned pilot efforts for Windows 7.  The session will be a question and answer format with a low technical focus.

Vista/2008 Technical Overview

This session will provide a detailed overview of the AGM Vista Enterprise SP2 and Server 2008 releases.  The areas of discussion will focus on compliance with DISA/Federal Desktop Core Configuration requirements, a review of deployment technologies, known issues, and several demonstrations.  This session will focus on the technical areas of the Vista/2008 releases and provide an opportunity for a Q/A forum.

US Army’s Diverse Desktop Demonstration

This session will provide a hands-on view of several of the Army's current and future AGM based desktop operating environments.  This will be an ad hoc question and answer session that will allow direct interaction with the AGM technical POC's.  The following AGM production operating systems will be presented:  XP Professional SP3, Vista Enterprise SP3, and OS X Leopard.  In addition, evaluation platforms based upon Red Hat Linux, OS X Snow Leopard and Windows 7 may be available.  The demonstration will be supported by a basic network infrastructure that will support CAC login, Active Directory, and Exchange.

OS X Technical Overview

This session will provide a detailed overview of the AGM OS X Leopard release.  The areas of discussion will focus on compliance with DISA security requirements, a review of deployment technologies, known issues, and several demonstrations.  This session will focus on the technical areas of the OS X AGM configuration and provide an opportunity for a Q/A forum.
