This session will focus on issue involved in using Apple computers and iPhones throughout the Army. You will have the chance to voice your opinion on questions such as problems that are hindering the use of Apple Computers Army wide. This session will provide a detailed overview of the AGM Windows 7/Server 2008 R2 releases. The areas of discussion will focus on compliance with DISA/Federal Desktop Core Configuration requirements, a review of deployment technologies, and known issues and a demonstration. This session will focus on the technical areas of the Windows 7/Server 2008 R2 releases and provide an opportunity for a Q/A forum.

As the Army seeks to consolidate its IT infrastructure in the Global Network Enterprise Construct (GNEC) strategy, the CIO/G6 is working to support this effort by leveraging economies of scale through Enterprise License Agreements (ELA) for Army-wide software buys. Learn how you can benefit directly from the benefits and incentives provided to users via these agreements. We will discuss lessons learned and our strategy for the future.
