Welcome to Navy Information Dominance Industry Day 2013!

On May 8, 2013, AFCEA Intelligence and the Naval Intelligence Professionals, in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Dominance, will present the fourth in a series of classified forums examining the state of Information Dominance in the U.S. Navy.

If you attended any of the three previous sold-out Navy Information Dominance Industry Days, you know these events are not to be missed!

With a line-up including conference host VADM Kendall Card, USN, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Dominance; and his senior leadership team, this event is bound to be just as popular. The format will be the same as in the two previous conferences with an emphasis on Q&A and a wrap-up session chaired by VADM Card.

Speakers from the Navy’s Information Dominance leadership will discuss topics from the new Navy Strategy for Achieving Information Dominance 2013-2017.  The conversation will explore how the public and private sectors can partner to further the operational advantage gained from fully integrating the Navy’s information functions, capabilities, and resources.  Program sessions will cover the Information Dominance Strategy, Assured C2, Battlespace Awareness, Integrated Fires, Science and Technology in Information Dominance, and the Cyber Power 2020 Strategy.  The final session will be a panel discussion comprised of leadership from throughout Navy Information Dominance.

Attendees will leave the conference, not only with a greater understanding of Information Dominance, but with a sense of what technologies, capabilities, and services are most needed for the Navy to achieve its goals within the Information Domain.

As background and to reinforce the importance of this topic, here are four documents prepared by the Navy Information Dominance Corps:

We look forward to seeing you at Navy Information Dominance Industry Day 2013!

Sincerely,
