About the AFCEA DC Chapter Spring Leadership Awards Gala

AFCEA International and Redskins Radio will join the AFCEA Washington DC Chapter's annual Spring Leadership Awards Gala. As part of the program, AFCEA DC will recognize a member from each branch of the military that has made a significant contribution to the Warfighter. This recognition will be given to two members (one enlisted and one officer stationed anywhere in the world) from each of the armed services - US Army, US Marine Corps, US Navy, US Air Force, US Coast Guard – who have made a significant contribution to the Warfighter through the use of information technology.  Special consideration will be given for decisive bravery.

The event will include a gourmet reception, a recognition ceremony, and an opportunity to interact with senior government and industry leadership in support of our Armed Forces and the Warfighter. In addition it will feature a live and silent auction of incredible sports memorabilia and autographed items - INCLUDING AN ITEM PERSONALLY SIGNED BY TIGER WOODS! Special guests will include select members of the DC sports community - players and coaches, past and present - who will share in the excitement, mixing and mingling with all attendees, signing autographs and doing photo ops.
