Innovation, agile service, and customer focus—the US Intelligence Community (IC) needs what small businesses have to offer. But getting started doing business with the IC can be challenging. How do small companies gain the insight, access and knowledge they need to effectively serve this market? How can they navigate security requirements, and market their products to organizations that operate in a highly classified world? And, given the hurdles, is it worth it?
The AFCEA Intelligence and Small Business Committees believe that not only are there compelling opportunities for small businesses to serve IC, but the IC can’t afford to do without the unique value that small business brings.
On Wednesday June 17, 2009, AFCEA will host an information-packed half-day seminar designed to demystify the Intelligence Community for small businesses.
This event will address the perspectives of two audiences: businesses that have successfully sold to other parts of the federal government, and those who are just beginning to serve the government. The take away for attendees will be insights, tools, and resources they can use to decide if selling to the IC is right for them, and if so how best to do it!
