C4 Panel Session - Breaking Down Barriers: Enabling a True Enterprise Network
The C4 panel will be led by the CENTCOM J6, BG Mark Bowman, to address Strategic Reposturing Initiatives, specifically discussing how to fight through the barriers in the networks between information sharing and network security to enable a true enterprise network. While the panel will remain unclassified, expert speakers and audience engagement will help to make the discussions meaningful. Specific initiatives to be discussed will include C4 Infrastructure, C2 On-the-Move, Network Operations, Joint Enterprise Services, and Coalition/Inter-Agency Information Sharing. These initiatives will be discussed within the context of providing the "so what" capabilities these initiatives provide the warfighter.

Intelligence Panel - Breaking Down Barriers by Flattening Networks
This panel will address Global War on Terror (GWOT) activities, specifically discussing how the Intelligence Community (IC) and Special Operations Forces
(SOF) have flattened networks to better target terrorist organizations and pathways. While the panel will remain unclassified, expert speakers and audience engagement will help to make the discussions meaningful. Specific initiatives to be discussed will include the National Security Agency's
(NSA's) Real Time Regional Gateway (RTRG) and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA's) e-GEOINT web services and initiatives with full motion video to support enhanced targeting and to provide critical bandwidth for tactical to strategic to tactical data movement. These initiatives will be discussed within the context of providing the "so what" capabilities these networking collaborations provide at the user-level.

IT Challenge to Industry
Mr. Doug Richardson, US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), will discuss how the command leverages commercial-off-the-shelf technology to meet the information sharing needs of Special Operations Forces (SOF). His remarks will focus on the need for IT companies to invest in research and development projects that apply to SOF mission areas. Mr. Donn Westerhoff, the Chief Technology Officer for USCENTCOM J6, will discuss the IT challenges of operating in a satellite-based environment.
