What is TechNet?

TechNet International is an annual event sponsored by AFCEA International. The 2-day event is one of the nation's largest C4I conferences and expositions and features numerous professional development opportunities and tremendous networking opportunities. Don't miss it!

What is AFCEA?
AFCEA stands for the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, but it encompasses more than just the military. AFCEA is a non-profit association representing the top government, industry and military professionals in the fields of communications, electronics, intelligence, information systems, imaging and multi-media. AFCEA's purpose is to support global security by providing an ethical environment that encourages a close cooperative relationship among civil government agencies, the military, and industry. What is the dress code?
All TechNet International 2006 events are business dress. Military personnel are encouraged to wear duty uniform.

Can I get retirement point credits for attending TechNet International 2006?
The military services vary in the awarding of retirement point credits. If you would like to earn retirement point credits for attending panel discussions and addresses, please check with your unit and bring the required forms for verification to the Will Call Ticket Booth in the Convention Center on-site at TechNet International 2006.

How much does it cost to attend TechNet International 2006?
Registration – a $50 value – is free to everyone!

What is a High-Speed Pass Number?
High-Speed Pass numbers (formerly known as VIP numbers) are assigned using our mailing list databases. Once you attend TechNet, you will be added to our database and you will be assigned a pass number for next year. When high-speed numbers are entered into the registration form, they automatically populate the registration information fields, saving you time and making it easier to register. Additionally, high-speed pass registrants have a dedicated high-speed registration line and reserved seating at the plenary address with Colin Powell.

All badges must be picked-up onsite.
