Tournament Beneficiary:

Education is AFCEA's #1 priority.

All proceeds raised by the tournament will be provided to the AFCEA Tucson Chapter Educational Fund, which offers a robust scholarship program to the local community.  The AFCEA Tucson Chapter offers the Leadership in Technology Award Program, offering Academic/Honor scholarships to engineering and science students in the Air Force, Army and Navy ROTC programs at the University of Arizona, Tucson.  In addition, the chapter sponsors a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Grant Program which provides up to $1,000 each for the purchase of consumable items to STEM teachers in the local Tucson area involved in teaching students from 5th through 12th grade.

 

Event Description:

The AFCEA Tucson Chapter has arranged a tremendous day of great golf, food, and sun for up to 144 players at a premier championship golf course in Tucson at the El Conquistador Country Club.  The El Conquistador course provides spectacular views of the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Tucson Valley provides a backdrop for every shot.  Shotgun Start at 0800.
