Sue Hoppin Assistant Director for Spouse Outreach Military Officers Association of America |
Sue Hoppin holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Denver (1991) and a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma (2003). In addition to holding different paid positions, Sue came to MOAA with over 13 years experience serving in the military community as a volunteer in positions varying from squadron fundraiser, spouse club membership chair to President of both the Kadena Officers’ Spouses’ Club and the Ramstein Elementary School PTA. She was recognized for her volunteer efforts with awards for Volunteer of the Year from McConnell AFB (1999) and the 76th Airlift Squadron Spouse of the Year (2002). Sue joined the Benefits Information Department staff of MOAA in 2005 and quickly established her expertise in military spouse issues. In 2006, Sue was selected to be MOAA’s first Assistant Director for Spouse Outreach.
Sue and husband, MAJ Kevin Hoppin, USAF, reside in Springfield, VA., with their son, Garrett.
