AFCEA Student Clubs/Chapters
- Pre-career academic and professional development opportunities for students
- Student clubs/chapters act as a forum for knowledge sharing and discussion of various aspects of communications and information technology
- Affiliation with a local AFCEA Chapter grants students access to a network of professionals in the field, both in industry and government/military
- Ability to leverage existing Chapter relationships with corporate members and sponsors to develop internship opportunities
- Valuable insights and experience to assist in the eventual transition from student to working professional
- Mentoring opportunities as part of the Young AFCEAN program
- Exclusive access to Student Club/Chapter scholarships
- $5,000 merit-based academic scholarships available annually, sponsored by AFCEA International
- Either one scholarship of $5,000 or a combination of scholarships totaling $5,000 per year
- Scholarships presented at AFCEA Chapter luncheons or other events, or at an AFCEA International event
