Dear POCs:

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and is looking forward to an exciting new year. We appreciate your continued support of AFCEA and encourage you to contact us any time you have questions or need assistance in taking full advantage of your corporate membership benefits. We have an aggressive schedule in 2014 with new ideas, programs, events, and conferences. Our first major event is WEST 2014 in San Diego in mid-February followed closely by Homeland Security in Washington, D.C., in mid-March. Both feature exciting speakers, informative sessions and networking opportunities.

We look forward to sharing a successful year with you in 2014.

AFCEA Corporate Member Directory

The AFCEA Corporate Member Directory, formerly the Source Book, is a corporate member only benefit. The directory is a digital, searchable database of AFCEA corporate members with capabilities taken from the corporate profile created in your online account. Therefore, it is important your profile is current.

It's easy to update your corporate profile by logging in with your personal ID# and password at www.afcea.org. On your home page, select the Corporate POC Tools bar on the far left and Update Corporate Profile in the drop-down menu. Follow the directions to update your current information and save any changes. The online membership directory will automatically reflect the changes made. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your account executive.

Renewing Your Corporate Membership

Please renew your corporate membership in a timely way (within 30 days of expiration) to make sure you take advantage of the reduced renewal rate. Corporate memberships begin on first of a month and are current for 12 months.

We would like to remind all Corporate Membership POCs that you are no longer receiving hard copies of your renewal invoices via U.S. Mail.  Invoicing is being done electronically.

To renew online with a credit card, log in at www.afcea.org with your personal ID# and password, select the Corporate POC Tools bar on the far left of your portal welcome page and select Membership/Roster Info in the drop-down menu. Click on Renew Membership in the middle of the new frame; confirm your level and number of years of membership and either Renew with a Credit Card payment or Print an Invoice if payment by check is required. Please print a copy of the invoice as your record of payment.

Maintaining Your Associate Rosters

If your corporate roster list is not complete, your organization is not taking advantage of all the benefits of membership. Please make sure your roster is complete by including some non-traditional members such as your training representative or employees in areas you would like to develop.

Changes to your corporate roster must be done by our Service Center before they become an active part of your account. There may be a short delay before your changes appear on the website. We apologize for this inconvenience, but please contact your account executive if you need assistance with this process.

Local Chapter Events

Interested in supporting your local chapter's luncheons and other events?

Information for any AFCEA chapter can be found by visiting the AFCEA website, selecting the Chapters tab, and clicking on Find a Chapter in the drop-down menu. Conduct a state or keyword search and select a result; you will be taken to that chapter's information page. This page provides names and contact information for chapter officers. Anyone listed on this page will be happy to help you with chapter events and sponsorships.

This page may also offer a brief Chapter Focus and Events Calendar. Selecting "VISIT WEBSITE" at the top right of the chapter banner will take you to the chapter's home webpage for further details. Anytime you are unable to find needed information, feel free to contact your account executive for additional assistance.

AFCEA Answers
AFCEA International is pleased to announce that AFCEA Answers, our Federal News Radio program, is continuing in FY14. AFCEA Answers provides a forum to promote government and industry dialogue. Government and industry guests meet to address an issue (the weekly question) and provide specific solutions (the answers). This show is gaining in popularity, and, if you would like to have your company participate or sponsor one or more of the shows, contact Theresa Fox (tfox@afcea.org) for more information.
