Ms. Vicki Jo McBee
Ms. McBee is a visionary leader who has significantly improved the quality and analytic capacity of the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) through technical leverage, interagency collaboration, and workforce motivation. She has over 22 years of experience in information technology and support to analytics. Ms. McBee started her tenure at NCTC as the first Deputy CIO of the Terrorist Threat Integration Center (TTIC), and later served as the Center’s Chief of Strategic Planning and Integration.
After a brief departure from Government to work in private industry, Ms. McBee returned to the NCTC as the Chief of Information Sharing Knowledge Development (ISKD) and currently serves as the Chief of NCTC Mission Systems. In her dual role as Chief of Mission Systems and Program Director for Mission System’s flagship program, Railhead, she has leveraged her deep knowledge of both technical and mission issues to guide the organization to what it has become today – a world class and worldwide operation bringing technologies to bear to meet the counterterrorism needs of the country and our allies.
Ms. McBee is not only known for optimizing key programs, but also is a Intelligence Community pillar in the quest to manage, analyze, and disseminate all-source intelligence. In a mission where countless successes go unpublicized, she has led from the front and integrated new sources, deployed new capabilities, and ensured that every resource at her disposal is marshaled toward defense of the nation. Ms. McBee is a member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of AFCEA International.
