Award Winners Honored

In December, the chapter honored Kameke Mitchell and Eric Sloan, winners of the 2011 Distinguished Young AFCEAN Award and 2011 Emerging Leadership Award, respectively. Mitchell, a contracting specialist for the U.S. Air Force Program Executive Office, Business Enterprise Systems, is a rising star and will soon become an Air Force civil service leader. Her tireless efforts within her organization and local community enabled the chapter's Montgomery IT Summit 2011 to be an amazing community and Air Force success. Sloan, director of Alabama operations, Precision Technology Group, thrives on challenging opportunities. For example, he elevated the chapter's Young AFCEAN Advisory Council from infancy to an outstanding self-sustaining entity. The chapter is extremely proud of Ms. Mitchell and Mr. Sloan.
