Award Winners Recognized

In June, the chapter named Alexa Tsui as recipient of the Young AFCEAN Award. She is a sales and account manager at Bloomberg Government. She has really stepped up and been an active participant in a number of capacities this year. She helped with Bag stuffing for Navy IT and Air Force IT days, volunteered to work the Wounded Warrior Booth for Navy IT Day, ran the AFCEA membership booth for several luncheons, served on the auction committee for Heroines in Technology and served on the Mentor/Protégé planning committee. In addition, the chapter recognized Greg Kipper as the June SuperNOVA. Kipper is a consulting futurist specializing in emerging technologies/cyber security for General Dynamics AIS. He has been supporting the chapter for 11 years and served as the chapter's chief technology officer for the past 2 years working to continually improve technical operations. He has supported numerous IT days and the Valentine Ball photo shoot.
