Seminar and Exhibition Cover Electronic Advances |
In September, the chapter organized the 2nd Military Electronics Systems Seminar and Exhibition in coordination with Electronic Valley, the premier Web portal for a wide spectrum of electronics sectors in Turkey, along with support from other organizations. This event was held at the METU in Ankara, Turkey. The seminar's main goal was to increase the common knowledge and share experiences by bringing together the key players from the government, military, private sectors, academia and various think tanks that are interested in developing the field of military electronics. Other event objectives included creating synergy among the related domestic and international organizations, and helping the development of small- and medium-sized enterprises to support the industry and to motivate young entrepreneurs, scientists and students in these fields. More than 650 people attended this event and 35 companies exhibited. Most of the participants are members of the Turkish defense electronic industry. During the seminar, the chapter promoted membership with an opening speech and a booth in the exhibition hall. |
