Speaker Discusses Training Efforts

During the monthly meeting in October, Tech. Sgt. Eric Trombley, USAF, 693rd Intelligence Support Squadron, recognized team members from 1st Air and Space Communications Operations Squadron for their first place finish during the HACKINT competition held during the Summer Tech Expo. He then turned the floor over to Col. Franz M. Plescha, USAF, commander, Warrior Preparation Center (WPC). As the guest speaker, he enlightened attendees about the WPC's mission to conduct tactical and operational training with joint and coalition partners in Europe and Africa. Col. Plescha was quick to highlight the importance of his communications directorate. Likening them to Might Mouse, the cyberspace team maintains 13 different networks with two more on the way. This foundation gives the WPC the ability combine live, virtual and constructive environments to maximize training. Together, they can take training so much further and train on many more things.
