Young AFCEANs Visit the Future

In November, Young AFCEANs (YACs) from the Kaiserslautern and Bonn chapters visited the T-Gallery in Bonn. The T-Gallery is T-Systems look into the future of technology in areas such as health, education, the work place and society. The goal of the T-Gallery is to showcase future innovations and inventions based on customer needs that will be available within three to five years. T-Systems representatives immersed YACs in 120 different user experiences such as more secure mobile solutions, medical devices to help monitor glucose levels for diabetics, glass windows that could be used as projection screens for presentations and video teleconferencing, and smart homes. In addition to the T-Gallery tour, the YACs from the two chapters ended the day at a local Bonn brewery. They enjoyed a tour, good German beer and a relaxed atmosphere to network. Both chapters look forward to partnering on future events.
