Family Night Focuses on STEM
The chapter sponsored the Boys and Girls Clubs of Harford County "STEM Family Night" in October with exciting, hands-on science experiments led by local scientists and engineers. Susan Ciavolino, the Harford County science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) coordinator, played a fortune-teller, showing students their bright futures as college graduates and STEM professionals. More than 100 local families participated, many of whom thanked the chapter personally for its sponsorship.
