Welcome Reception Held for Colonel

In October, the chapter welcomed Col. Tammy M. Knierim, USAF, director education operations and information, headquarters, Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, at Arrowhead Country Club. During the evening, Col. Knierim had an opportunity to meet many of the chapter members and discover more local resources available to her and her newly formed organization. To close the evening, Dr. Joseph Besselman, chapter president, presented Col. Knierim with a small welcoming gift: “Central Alabama Memories: Commemorating the 175th Anniversary of the Montgomery Advertiser,” a pictorial history as seen through the eyes of the a local newspaper. The chapter looks forward to working with Col. Knierim and her team.
