State of the Chapter Luncheon

In June, Col. Eric Bjurstrom, USAF, chapter president, provided an overview of the chapter's general health and accomplishments for the 2012-2013 board of director term. Col. Bjurstrom highlighted how the chapter remains engaged, representing the needs of the chapter to AFCEA International and recruiting new members and volunteers. The colonel discussed the chapter's recognition on the year: the Model Chapter Award and the Use of IT in Education Award. He concluded by touching on the chapter's major calendar events as well as the chapter's goals for the 2013-2014 term, encouraging general membership participation throughout.

In June, Staff Sgt. Cameron Smith, USAF (l), lead Young AFCEAN, receives the Meritorious Service Award from Col. Bjurstrom in recognition of his efforts in support of the Young AFCEAN program.
