Chapter Recognizes Exceptional Volunteers

In July, the chapter's board of directors thanked all its volunteers with an evening of food, fun and fellowship in recognition of their extraordinary volunteer efforts, which make the chapter a great success. While the chapter is grateful for all volunteers, there are two who stood out and received awards. First, the chapter recognized Brig. Gen. Bruce Bohn, USAF (Ret.), with the chapter's Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented for his length and depth of service to the chapter. Gen. Bohn is a man who goes above and beyond the norm and sets an example for other volunteers to follow. Also, the chapter congratulated Ryan Cox for receiving the Corjay Award, which is presented each year to the volunteer who epitomizes the spirit of volunteerism to AFCEA. Cox has chaired committees, ran events and shown leadership and commitment beyond his years.
