Diversity Committee Sponsors Annual Golf Tournament

The chapter's Diversity Committee held its annual nine-hole golf tournament in August at the Patriot Golf Course, in Bedford, Massachusetts. Fifty-seven golfers from government and industry participated in a shotgun scramble to benefit the Education Fund scholarship award to the Hanscom Air Force Base Enlisted Scholarship Fund. A barbeque followed at which winning teams were recognized. The Raytheon Team, including Bud Vazquez, chapter president, walked away with top honors. Sponsors from Boeing, Oasis, Odyssey, PE Systems, P3I, Raytheon Rockwell Collins, John Treacy and Wyle contributed green fees and raffle prizes to support the event. Chief Master Sgt. Mitchell Kenui Balutski, USAF, passed along appreciation from the enlisted command chief for the always generous AFCEA support of the Hanscom enlisted community.
