Chapter Celebrates 60th Anniversary |
The chapter celebrated its 60th anniversary at the Honolulu Elks Lodge 616 banquet hall in October. Members and their guests enjoyed one of the best sunsets Honolulu has to offer followed by a perfect view of the Friday night fireworks. Founding member, Daniel Carvalho, was recognized for his 60 years of dedication to AFCEA Hawaii. Bob and Letizia Ventura celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Announcements were made for the Education Foundation's fundraising and a call for volunteers was made for the Pacific TechNet in December. The chapter gave special thanks to Jim Muller and his wife, Alexis, for organizing a terrific social of games, gifts and fun. |
