State of C4ISR Highlights Government Industry Partnerships

The chapter held its State of C4ISR event in October at the new Waters Edge Events Center in Belcamp, Maryland. With more than 350 in attendance, the event was an overwhelming success. Maj. Gen. Robert Ferrell, USA, the commanding general of the Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM), kicked off the proceedings with an overview of his organization and a thank you to industry partners. The following presentations featured Bryon Young, executive director of Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG); Henry Muller, director of the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD); Steve Kreider, program executive officer for intelligence electronic warfare and sensors; and Brig. Gen. Daniel Hughes, USA, program executive officer for command, control and communications - tactical. Speakers provided valuable information on their organizations, missions and challenges. The event included lunch and networking time, and finished with a lively question and answer session.
