STEM Award Presented to Local School |
The chapter issued a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Award for the 2012 to 2013 educational year to Alisofu Koyu Ilkogretim Okulu, a Kars Sarikamis County public school. Alisofu Koyu elementary school proudly accepted the STEM Award valued at $1,000 to fund purchasing of some basic tools for science classrooms. The school's principal expressed appreciation for the donation, noting that boosting the morale of both students and instructors is equally valuable to the award itself. |
