Luncheon Speaker Highlights Cyber Operations |
The chapter's December luncheon featured Maj. Gen. Brett T. Williams, USAF, director of operations, J-3, U.S. Cyber Command. The general explained cyberspace operations, specifically how operating in cyberspace is very different from doing cyber. He elaborated on what it means to conduct cyberspace operations and outlined the Defense Department Information Network Operations (DoDIN), Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) and DCO Response Actions(DCO-RA). He accepted questions from the audience and in closing stressed the need for officers and professionals who understand and are experienced in all three areas of cyberspace operations. |
