Combined Professional Association Group Program

The chapter’s Combined Professional Association Group (CPAG) had its 13th annual Team Orlando Defense Forum Breakfast in January. It was a sold-out event with roughly 150 attendees. The speakers included Dr. Jim Blake, U.S. Army program executive officer for simulation, training and instrumentation; Daniel Torgler, U.S. Marine Corps program manager for training systems; Capt. Steven “Snak” Nakagawa, USN, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division; and Col. Franz Plescha, USAF, Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation. The speakers provided insights on the current activities and significant changes occurring within their organizations as well as within their respective services. CPAG Council Chair Jerry Stahl, chapter vice president, corporate affairs, organized the event on behalf of CPAG. In addition to the chapter, which was represented by its President Wells Barlow, CPAG also consists of the following organizations: AAAA, AFA, ASMC, AUSA, CFVA, INCOSE, ITEA, MOAA, NLUS, NCMA, NCS, NDIA, USMC Foundation and WID.
