Chapter Grant Benefits Local High School Physics Students

The chapter received a big thank you in February from Linda Muzzey, a physics teacher at Rising Sun High School, for a chapter grant that allowed the school to buy rotary motion sensors for the physics class. From her letter: "The students say this first lab has helped them grasp the understanding of torque and rotation, and the relationship to moments of inertia. It is all so amazing and such a blessing to have in the classroom." The chapter is thrilled to hear it has made a difference in local science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.
