Mayor's Cyber Cup Finalists Receive $12K from Chapter

The chapter was presentówith two very large checks in handóat the annual Mayor's Cyber Cup Challenge, held in March in San Antonio. Bill Morrow, chapter president, awarded a total of $12,000 in scholarships to members of two teams: The "Open Division" champs and "Service Division" winners. The funds amount to $1,000 in scholarship earnings for each team member. The chapter has budgeted some $90,000 to be distributed in scholarships and educational grants in 2014. The winning teams at the Mayor's Cyber Cup Challenge were Southwest High School (Open Division) and Medina Valley High School Air Force Junior ROTC (Service Division).

Col. Bob Spracale (Ret.), USAF, Mayor Julian Castro, Col. Bill Poirier, commander, 67th Cyberspace Wing, and Morrow.
Winners of the Sam Antonio Mayor's Cyber Cup Challenge - Service Division category from Medina Valley High School Air Force Junior ROTC are Estaban Elizondo, Ryan Porter, Michael Hall, Aydan Hamilton, Anthony Alvarado, John Perez and Destiny Perez, with coach Lt.
