YAAC Supports Montgomery Schools by Collecting School Supplies

In August, the Montgomery Young AFCEAN Advisory Council (YAAC) worked with Style.Hot.Energy. “S.H.E.” Agency, EMERGE Montgomery, the Capital City Club and The Shoppes at EastChase to collect essential school supplies and donations in support of the fourth-annual “Stuff The Bus” fundraiser. S.H.E. Agency's annual fundraiser collects donated school supplies for the Montgomery Public School system by literally stuffing a school bus full of donated items. The YAAC collected and donated plentiful amounts of vital school supplies in addition to more than $300 to purchase additional supplies as needed. The chapter's YAACs were proud to partner with these groups and other members of the Montgomery community while doing their part to give back to the community by supporting the local Montgomery school system with essential supplies and materials to ensure a successful upcoming academic year. The YAACs are proud to continue this steadfast support for enabling the best quality education to hard-working local students.
