Chapter Recognizes CENTCOM Award Winner

The chapter gave a CENTCOM Award in August to Col. Brian J. King, USMC. Col King is the lead officer for the Central Region Communications Conference (CRCC), hosted by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) DCOM. The CRCC is an annual forum attended by senior communications representatives from the Defense Department, the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Homeland Security and 11 of the 20 area of responsibility (AOR) countries. The colonel also led the effort to establish a viable partner nation Cyber Security Engagement Strategy with five of the key CENTCOM partner nations. He led senior-level discussions and engagements between U.S. and Jordanian armed forces, resulting in the establishment of an effective cybersecurity program within the Jordanian armed forces.
