HAWAII CHAPTER Chapter • Apr 08, 2008

The April luncheon featured Brig. Gen. Steve Jones, USA, commanding general, Pacific Regional Medical Command and Tripler Army Medical Center. Gen. Jones briefed the chapter about how state-of-the-art technology has been a cornerstone of ensuring readiness through the delivery of quality health care. Tripler Army Medical Center is the largest military medical facility in the Pacific and serves more than 750,000 eligible beneficiaries in the region. Also at the meeting, monthly chapter awards were presented to Student of the Month Jeffrey Spraker; AFCEAN of the Month Bob Ventura; Executive of the Month Art Nakagawa; and Senior Government Leader of the Month Capt. Janet Stewart, USN.
