Networking Abounds at Round Table Event

The chapter held a small business breakfast in April sponsored by the Small Business Committee for NETCENTS II. Harry Piccariello, vice president, special activities, and Cary Osbourn, chairman, helped conduct the program. The chapter's Executive Round Table event recognizes and rewards corporate table holders. Attendees had the opportunity to interact with key government decision makers in an informal environment. Speakers included Dave Wennergren, deputy chief information officer, Defense Department; and Lt. Gen. Charles E. Croom Jr., USAF, director, Defense Information Systems Agency, and commander, Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations. The April luncheon speaker was John G. Grimes, assistant secretary of defense for networks and information integration/chief information officer. The chapter's April Super NOVA award was presented to Doris Reeves, vice chair, scholarship committee. April Young AFCEAN was Rahul "Robin" Brahmbhatt, The Rainfield Group. Sam Jones chaired the annual chapter scholarship fund golf tournament held on April 24.
