Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a three-year, $5.2 million contract by the U.S. Office of Naval Research to develop and demonstrate a signals intelligence (SIGINT) payload for use on an unmanned aerial vehicle under the Warfighter’s Tactical SIGINT Resource program. Northrop Grumman will develop a low-cost, lightweight, plug-and-play SIGINT sensor package that requires minimal power.

Stanley Incorporated has received a four-year, firm-fixed-price contract valued at $3 million to provide technical and analysis support for the Sealift, Intermodal, Rail and Airlift Analysis Support (SIRAAS) program under the U.S. Transportation Command Strategy, Policy, Programs and Logistics Directorate, Programs and Analysis Division, Industry Branch.

Booz Allen Hamilton has received a modification from the U.S. Air Force on a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery contract for approximately $7 million. The contract is for submarine exercise and tactical operation analysis for survivability and combat effectiveness. The 55th Contracting Squadron, 55 CONS/LGCD, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, is the contracting activity.

BAE Systems has won a five-year, $94 million, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the U.S. Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity Omnibus Support. BAE will provide the personnel and technical expertise to deliver essential complimentary operational test, evaluation, managerial and technical support resources to the Marine Corps.

General Dynamics Robotic System has been awarded a contract by the Office of Naval Research to develop the Common Launch and Recovery System for use on the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). General Dynamics will use robotics and automation technologies to develop a method for launching and recovering unmanned maritime systems, including unmanned boats and other watercraft, from the LCS.

iRobot Corporation has been given an additional $17.5 million order from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation. This is the fourth order under the $286 million, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. iRobot will provide to the Army more than 220 PackBot 510 robots with FasTac kits. The PackBot 510 helps warfighters investigate suspicious objects, identify roadside bombs and other improvised explosive devices, and uncover unexploded ordnance while keeping soldiers in theater at safe distances.

Fidelity Technologies Corporation has received a U.S. Army contract with a potential value of $124 million over five years. Fidelity will manufacture an advanced type of circuit protection called the Power Distribution Illumination System, Electrical. The units will control the amount of power that flows from generators to the standard electrical requirements the soldiers use.

Northrop Grumman has been selected by the U.S. Navy to develop the Next Generation Command and Control Processor (NGC2P). The contract has a potential value of $218 million if all the options are exercised. The NGC2P system is a tactical data link communication processor that provides warfighters with critical real-time information about friendly and enemy activity during combat operations.

SAIC has been awarded a contract with a potential value of $26 million to provide a broad range of technical and analysis services to the Office of the Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters.

Raytheon Network Centric Systems has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract worth $29,437,812 for Cooperation Engagement Capability (CEC) System production. The contract provides for production of CEC systems and ancillary support for the U.S. Navy, Army and Marines. CEC is a sensor netting system that significantly improves battle force Anti-Air Warfare capability and improves battle force effectiveness by improving overall situation awareness. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
