region and provides high-quality satellite communications. With a
fleet of 16 satellites, the company offers a range of services
including video distribution, data communication and back-up
capability in the Asia-Pacific. The company also is one of the
largest direct-to-home satellite broadcast service operators in
Japan. The company provides pay-TV service (SKY Perfect TV!) of
more than 350 TV channels to more than 3.8 million households
using three orbital slots and FTTH.
