Built by Permuta Technologies, DefenseReady is Web-based and is already pre-aligned to DoD specifications. It comprises a suite of mission-enabling business solutions for gathering, processing, analyzing, and collaborating on workforce and mission information in near real/real time. DefenseReady capabilities span all functional areas of a military command: recruiting, human resources, training, medical, legal, security, finance, operations, assets. The system provides organizations the ability to track and manage their total workforce (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, including Active, Guard, and Reserve components; civilians; contractors; augmentees; and attached coalition partners) to ensure readiness for the organization's assigned mission.

DefenseReady provides leaders at all levels of command a common operational picture (COP) and employees visibility over their data, taskings, and assignments. We achieve the COP by combining an organization's requirements, authorizations, and assignments in a single location using service-level data with locally captured data and business processes. Our application provides relevant, real-time data to decision-makers. We remove the bottlenecks of having to rely on numerous disparate applications and silo administrators to speed informed decision-making by leaders. DefenseReady is built and maintained on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, a commercial platform widely used by Fortune 500 corporations. As Microsoft updates the underlying platform, we update the line of business applications, ensuring our customers stay current with modern technologies. This is evidenced by our upgrade through five major version releases of CRM starting with CRM 3.0 and currently residing on CRM 2015. We built DefenseReady around and for the military community. As we build new functionality for one customer, the remainder of our customer base benefits from the innovation. Our customers see rapid increase of capabilities without having the massive capital outlays they have faced with traditional upgrades of platform or development technologies. We use a social media component of Dynamics CRM to enhance communication and collaboration between process owners and employees. This component can be employed on any record within DefenseReady, which is especially useful on taskings, billet vacancies, training exercise or deployment/mission records. DefenseReady covers such business disciplines as talent, case, task, asset, security information, learning, and human capital management; enterprise resource planning; business process automation; medical readiness; and forms automation. Evolved over eight years, DefenseReady helps organizations achieve a common operational picture; application consolidation and rationalization; integrated insights; and data aggregation and visualization.

Today, there are 30 deployments of DefenseReady within joint and single service organizations throughout DoD, on both classified and unclassified environments. US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is one of our largest customers managing over 73,000 military and civilian personnel. DefenseReady is a proven, joint system purpose built for DoD and national security organizations. We have contracts with Army, Navy Air Force, Marine Corps, Joint and 4th Estate organizations.
