VxWorks is a high-performance, safe, secure, and certifiable (DO-178C, IEC 61508, EUROCAE ED-12C) real-time operating system that supports multiple open standards including ARINC 653, FACE, POSIX, and MILS standards. Wind River Linux is the market-leading commercial grade Linux solution for embedded device development that delivers all the advantages of open source, plus the vision, the innovation, the business risk mitigation, and the support and maintenance that only a mature technology vendor can provide. Wind River Simics provides a simulation of a target hardware system that software developers can use to develop, debug, integrate, and test their software. Able to simulate systems comprising of many boards, LRUs, or full computer networks, Simics reduces the risks of shipping late, overrunning budget, and releasing a poor quality product. Wind River Carrier Grade Communications Server is a fully integrated and feature-complete NFV software platform having ultra-reliability and high performance mandated for mission-critical networks.
