Stephen will be speaking on - Increasing the Cyber
Resilience of the Electric Smart Grid
The electric grid is changed by smart grid
component integration. The smart grid is internet
aware. The increased Internet connectivity brings
along advantages and disadvantages. Some of these
are cyber threats new to the electric grid. The
same scenario translates to other areas such as
IoT integration with industrial control systems,
intelligent systems integration with customer
service platforms, and robotics integration with
cyber physical social systems. An approach to
addressing some of these cyber threats is the
evolution of the state estimation system to become
cyber-aware. |
