Unless the logistic support of systems with large
assemblies, production and service periods is not
based on configuration, the spare parts to be
purchased to keep the system alive cannot be used
effectively both physically and functionally and
remain idle in warehouses. In order to avoid such
a negative situation, engineering change proposals
to be made in line with manufacturer and user
feedback before production, during production and
even during use should be followed closely and
these changes should be recorded and audited. To
ensure this, the "CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT PLAN"
should be included in the production contracts as
an appendix and strictly implemented. |
