Description: Join the AFCEA Greater Monmouth Chapter to hear more about Veterans Affairs from the Small Business Liaison at the Technology Acquisition Center (TAC). The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), headquartered in Eatontown, New Jersey, is a multi-disciplined organization of acquisition professionals and support staff who provide streamlined business and contracting solutions for a variety of major Information Technology (IT) programs. With staff located in Eatontown, NJ and Austin, TX, the TAC leverages its Contracting, Engineering, Customer Service, and Operations Divisions to provide its customers with innovative acquisition guidance in support of their complex IT procurement needs. The VA Network Small Business Liaisons are small business advisors located at each Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and National Cemetery Administration (NCA) to assist small businesses in marketing their products and services with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Other staffing offices ¿ Office of Procurement and Logistics (OPAL) that includes; National Acquisition Center (NAC), Technical Acquisition Center (TAC) and Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) ¿ work closely with the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) to provide maximum practicable opportunities to Service-Disabled Veteran Small Business/Veteran Own Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB) socioeconomic and other small businesses in VA Contracting.
