Earth Observation is experiencing a moment of
particular importance, getting closer and closer to
the needs of institutional users and the demand for a
growing commercial sector. The protagonists of this
challenge are numerous and all important as the
National Institutions, both in the civil field
(ministries, agencies, etc.) and defense (coastal,
marine, aeronautics, etc.), space agencies (European
and national ), the academic world, with universities
and research centers, and the entire industrial chain
from large companies to SMEs and start-ups.
To examine this emerging sector in a synergistic
framework with the European context, the Rome Chapter
of AFCEA International has organized a conference
which will be attended by representatives of Defense,
Space Agencies, Academies and industry. It will be an
opportunity to compare all the actors in order to
facilitate the dialogue on new technologies and
solutions on the entire value chain, the 8 thematic
services (coastal strip and marine-coastal
monitoring, air quality, land movements, monitoring
of land cover and use, hydro-meteorological climate,
water resources, emergency and security) for the PNRR
and others with commercial and defense repercussions. |
